About Awakening Within

Awakening Within, founded and located on the Big Island of Hawaii, was created as the first U.S. Company devoted to promoting information and awareness about the transformative work of Braco. Awakening Within produced Braco’s first U.S. Tour, taking place across the Hawaiian Islands in Jan-Feb 2010, and has continued to produce Gazing Events spanning Hawaii, the East Coast and Midwest, and into the South – with more cities to come in Fall 2011 and 2012.

Awakening Within is also proud to be a distributor for Braco related DVDs and books in the USA.

2010, The Year America Discovers Braco

An unprecedented reception by U.S. audiences welcomed Braco across the country in 2010. It begin in Hawaii with up to 1000 people coming out per day to experience their first encounter with a gazing session. Despite the fact that relatively few had ever heard of this extraordinary man out of Europe who had been gazing for over 200,000 people a year from Germany to the Balkans, people in America opened their hearts and minds to see for themselves. From the Hawaiian Islands to Los Angeles & San Francisco, Las Vegas to Philadelphia and Miami Beach, Braco toured across the new land, and the number of visitor grew quickly, with up to 5000 people attending gazing sessions per day attending – astonishing!

A hallmark of the American psyche is a warm embrace of the best and brightest in individuals and endeavors, and Braco's gaze illuminated these exceptional qualities within the people themselves, as stories poured forth by those attending. He brought a new hope across this vast expanse, and a trail of tears of joy. The miraculous took place too, including documented cases of a man in L.A. and a woman in Kona, Hawaii who both left their wheelchairs behind with a new future before them after their sessions, a Vietnam Veteran whose life-threatening agent orange poisoning and chronic traumatic-stress disorder vanished, with blood-tests verifying his new health only a week after gazing with Braco. Also, a woman's cancerous brain tumor, which had left her on her deathbed, shrank away after she found the courage to attend a gazing event instead of saying farewell to her family as she had been advised by her doctors to do.

Some would tell that they felt 'seen' for the very first time in their lives, many reported profound feelings of love and joy during sessions, that became a new foundation as other positive changes occurred afterwards, transforming not only health, but people's ability to gain a new clarity and strength that impacted all areas, including work, home and family.

Our History

A humble beginning, Braco's first U.S. tour in Hawaii was preceded by only a few hundred people experiencing his gaze via modern Skype technology in a Angelika Whitecliff’s living room on the Big Island of Hawaii. Angelika, the author of, 21 Days with Braco, had visited a gazing session in February 2009, and her dramatic spiritual and physical healings inspired a vision to bring Braco to the people of America. She invited Braco to gaze at a conference and subsequent tour in Hawaii in January 2010 and he accepted. Next, she would herself tour with Braco in Europe that summer, and chronicle his life story in the first English language book about his work, and found the company Awakening Within and website, Braco.net, to share information about Braco's mission to help people everywhere.

Further, to prepare for his upcoming Hawaii tour visit, she offered free Skype gazing sessions to the local community twice & three times a week for three months, and soon Angelika's living room was overflowing. The people who came did the rest, as they contacted their friends and family – not only in Hawaii, in California, Arizona and all the way to New York to share their joyous and sometimes miraculous experiences. They would become the true promoters of Braco’s work, inspiring others across the country to try the experience of a gazing session for themselves once tours were announced for the U.S. mainland.

Others would soon join the Awakening Within flow of making dreams a reality, as filmmakers Jane Sibbett and Karl Fink did, to produce the first U.S. film about Braco entitled, Gaze of Light. It was shot entirely in Hawaii and documents a sweet piece of history in the making. Like Angelika, Jane too was inspired with the vision of Braco across America, and began producing events in California, whose success would eventually bring aboard Agape to offer the first live Online Streaming of Braco Gazing Sessions around the world. The Skype days had come of age to reach the next level, not in one living room, but in all homes everywhere. BracoAmerica.com, a sister site to Braco.net, was loving crafted by Jane, and now the foundation was maturing for people in the U.S. to have two substantial hubs of information about Braco, and twice the outreach, inspiration and joy to share. Add to this Braco's European website, Braco-info.com, and a bounty can be had by all searching to read and simply know more about the gift of Braco.

In the fall of 2010, filmmaker Frank Weller and his Emmy award winning sound and cameraman brother, Vann, joined the team to produce the next Braco film shot on locations at events across the East Coast, and the newest DVD is scheduled to be release in October 2011, with great anticipation. 2010 was a year of new beginnings and many firsts, and Awakening Within is honored to have forged the way this year with Braco from Hawaii to Philadelphia to Miami Beach, with the sister support of BracoAmerica blazing new trails from California to Portland to Las Vegas.

In 2011, our vision and projects expand to include bringing Braco into people’s homes through Live Streaming, creating gazing events in more cities across the USA, new Braco films are in development and even Spanish translations for DVDs and books to accommodate our large Latin and Hispanic communities.
