It’s a simple gaze but it has empowered and changed the lives of many people around the world. Braco, through his five-minute gazing sessions has helped bring transformation, healing, awakening and well-being.

Angelika Whitecliff, a resident of Kealakekua, is the author of a recently published book, “21 Days with Braco,” and is the host of Braco’s second Hawai`i Island visit. The Croatian-born healer will be holding, through Whitecliff’s organization Awakening Within, several gazing sessions April 13-16 at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort.

Group Gazing Sessions are Tuesday, April 13 to Thursday, April 15 at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and again on Friday, April 16 at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

“Braco’s unique gift reflects the spirit of Aloha,” Whitecliff said, explaining that Hawai`i is only the second U.S. destination where the European has held healing sessions. “He is able to convey a powerfully positive, loving energy to large groups of people at one time through his silent gaze.”

Whitecliff likens the solution to overcoming what Eckhart Tolle’s describes as our thoughts that make most of us ill. Braco is a catalyst for people to reconnect with themselves and it is through his special gift, according to Dr. Harald Wiesendanger of the International Institute for Outstanding Healers. “Outstanding and unique results have emerged,” based off the impressive reports of those who have experienced his abilities.

Over the past 15 years Braco (pronounced Brat-so) has gained unprecedented popularity in his home Balkan region and throughout Europe. Whitecliff, who is a professional writer, researcher and lecturer of alternative healing modalities, was the first person Braco granted permission to write a personalized account of his life and mission (according to Whitecliff, Braco does not conduct press interviews).

“We met at a conference in Nevada in February of 2009, hosted by my close friend,” Whitecliff said. “I didn’t have any aliments but during the session I felt a profound shift inside me.”

Being so moved by her interaction with Braco, Whitecliff invited him to Hawai`i in January 2010 (in which up to 750 people attended group gazing events each day) for the Earth Transformation Conference. Before hosting the conference Braco felt it necessary for Whitecliff to follow him on tour and offered her to write his story.

Before the two-week stint in Hawai`i, Whitecliff helped introduce Big Islanders to Braco through remote Skype gazing sessions, shown live from Croatia. Over the course of three months, 500 people sat in on the session and learned of Braco’s story.

It began in 1999 when Braco was 26-years-old after having befriended Ivica Prokic, a Croatian healer, following the end of the Serbian Croatian War. Prokic served as Braco’s mentor and his life was altered after seeing the positive transformation many people were undergoing. After Prokic drowned on a trip to South Africa, Braco returned home to find that many people in his community were seeking out his spiritual gift. By 2002 hundreds of people were asking the natural-born healer for assistance.

“He never charged for his healings. He never really understood the gift, but it felt it was a pure, sacred gift and his responsibility to share,” Whitecliff said, explaining that he switched from offering one-on-one sessions to holding group gazes, to accommodate the masses. “People would come to him with all kinds of physical injury, mental illnesses, relationship problems, and problems with their children.”

Attendees must be 18 years or older due of the potency of the energy. People are invited to bring pictures of loved ones into these sessions to ask for help for those who cannot attend. The cost of $6 per person is used only to help pay for the event venue and organizational costs. For more information call 323-4000 or visit http://www.braco.net.
